3 Day Detox Diets for Weight Loss

In this crazy race for getting slim, have you tried the very well-known 3 day detox diet. This diet plan, not only helps you reduce weight at a faster rate, but also detoxifies your body, which is definitely beneficial in the long run.
Detox diets are the food programs undertaken to remove toxins from the body. The purpose of detox is to help the body clear all its toxin, we all have toxins in our body, no matter how careful we are. Toxins, not only signify the type of foods that we eat, but also the production methods of those foods.
Almost all the foods that we consume have some chemical input in it. We also take in toxins with air or water, which creates more chemical complications and it leads to stress and muscle rigidity. Toxins are compounds, which make you feel slow and sluggish; you may not be sick but you also might not be your 100%.

3 Day Diet Plan

If you want to get slim and fit naturally, try to follow this diet plan. Such a diet is filled with foods, which help to lose weight faster and at the same time, maintain a healthy immune system. So let's have a look at your diet menu for three days.

Day 1

Start your breakfast with a cup of black coffee or tea. Have ½ a grapefruit and 1 slice of toast with ½ tsp., of peanut butter. For lunch, have 1 slice of toast with ½ cup tuna and coffee if you like.
Keep your dinner light with 1 cup of beans of your choice, 1 cup of beet slices, 6 slices of meat (boiled), and 1 small apple.

Day 2

Start the next day's breakfast with saltine crackers, 2 slices of cheddar cheese, 1 apple, and a cup of black coffee or tea. In the afternoon have 1 boiled egg with a slice of bread.
For dinner, have 1 cup cauliflower, ½ cantaloupe, 1 beet and a fruit milk shake.

Day 3

In the morning, eat 1 banana, 1 egg, 1 slice toast, and drink a cup of black coffee. For lunch, you can have 1 cup cottage cheese and saltine crackers.
At night, have 2 hot dogs, 1 cup broccoli, 1 cup carrots, and 1 cup of fat-free yogurt.

Detox Diet Options

When you think about a 3 day detox diet plan, most people will say that, it may take a long time to work. A longer (frequently done) 3 day detox program may work slowly, however, it will be gentle on your body, which is good for your overall health.
However, if you want to see even faster results than 3 day diet schedule, you can opt for a 24 hour detoxification diet. A 1 day detox diet helps you feel lighter, stronger, more focused, and fresh. It's like your personal energy booster for the body.

Lemon Juice Diet

Mix together 6 ounces of water, juice of 1 fresh lemon, 1 tbsp., maple syrup, and a pinch of cayenne pepper. Mix well and drink this magical juice the entire day, as often as you can.

Wheatgrass/Cranberry Juice Diet

Blend 6 ounces of water, 1 ounce of unsweetened cranberry juice, 2 tsp., of wheatgrass powder, and drink throughout the day. Along with it, drink plenty of water.

Fresh Fruit Juice Diet

Just mix all your favorite fruits and make a combined juice in a juicer. If you're a working person and have no time to spare, you can also have a glass of fresh fruit juice at any reputed juice center. For the entire day, drink only juice and water.
Whichever diet you follow, it's very necessary to include a 30 minute walk in your routine. Exercise accompanied with any diet schedule is beneficial, as it helps you feel light and rejuvenated. You may also lose a few pounds after the 3rd day, however, it's always better to follow a different diet and not going to extreme dieting.
