1. Daily Macros

First thing you should understand is to know your maintenance calories and you should adjust your meal to your daily requirement.

Suppose your daily requirement is 2000 calories, then you should be eating somewhere around 1800-2000 calories to maintain your weight.

2. 2X Protein per Day

Try to take protein twice your body weight, this will help you in muscle building.

If your body weight is 70 kg, then you should be consuming at least 130-140 grams of protein per day.

3. Healthy Fats

Out of the 2 types of fats - saturated and unsaturated fats, you should be eating more of unsaturated fats. This can come from almonds, peanuts, walnuts etc. Some of the examples of saturated fats are butter, cheese, lamb, pork and beef. You should eat only 50-70 grams of fats per day.

4. Reduce Sugars

Sugar is not good for your health if you are consuming too much of it on a daily basis.

Sugars are high in calories and will add fats which are not good for your health.

On average, if your maintenance calories are 3000, then you should eat 2500 calorie meal plan to maintain your body.

5. Water

Remember water intake is also very important like your diet. You should drink at least 3-4 liters of water everyday.

Don't drink water immediately after your meals, this will slow down your digestion process.
