High Acid Foods to Avoid

Too much of high acid foods may spell trouble for one's health. Know about which acid foods you must avoid in order to keep medical problems at bay.
A diet that is abundant with foods high in acid content, and at the same time, low on the inclusion of alkalizing foods has all reason to cause chaos and disruption in the pH balance of the body. And this in turn may trigger the development of several medical conditions.
The normal pH scale is from 0 - 14. Here, 0 happens to be the most acidic and 14, the most alkaline. A measure of 7.0 means neutral, above it means alkaline and below 7.0 is acidic.
According to doctors, our body pH is normal and healthy when it shows a reading of 7.35 to 7.45, which is a little bit on the alkaline side. So a measure that is below or above this reading indicates that something is amiss in the body.
