  • The water has to be lukewarm, not piping hot. You have to drink the concoction immediately and a glass of boiling hot water won't let you do that.
  • Use only a fresh lemon to make the drink. If you think the lemon appears a little dry or stale, refrain from using as it may meddle with the nutritional value of the drink.
This concoction that you prepare has to be consumed twice a day. The first time is as soon as you wake up in the morning, on an empty stomach. This will fill your stomach to an extent and you will not feel like eating a lot throughout the day. During the day, you must maintain a diet that consists of only the required amount of nutrients.
Avoid indulging in extra starchy and fatty foods. You can prepare and take the drink once again after any meal in the day. If you think you've eaten a specifically oily meal (which should not be happening if you're on a diet) take the drink to help with its digestion.
Don't fast yourself, just make sure you eat in moderation and follow an exercise regime along with following this diet. Sudden fasting will catch your body completely off guard and may lead to health problems.
