Here are a few easy recipes you can try at home and treat everyone to yummy sugar-free chocolate chip cookies, in no time!
Chocolate chip cookies are one of the best and the tastiest things loved by one and all. They are quite easy to make for snacks and also for parties. But they are not something that can be eaten everyday, as they are made of chocolate, butter, and most importantly, sugar. No one can afford such a high calorie intake every day.
Especially diabetics must refrain themselves from snacking on these cookies. However, total abandonment of these is not possible. One of the easiest solutions to this problem is having sugar-free chocolate chip cookies. Such cookies are as sweet as the normal ones and also taste the same.

Recipe 1

  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • ¾ cup butter-flavor shortening
  • 2 tbsp. milk
  • 1 tbsp. vanilla extract
  • ¾ tsp. baking soda
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup pecans (chopped)
  • 1¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 (1.7 oz.) package brown sugar replacement
Preheat the oven to 375 °F. Add the milk, sugar, shortening and vanilla extract to a bowl, and mix until creamy. Then add in the salt, egg, baking soda and flour; blend well and then add the chocolate pieces along with pecans to the bowl. Drop spoonfuls of the cookie batter, 3 inches apart on a non-greased cookie sheet. Bake for only 8-10 minutes.

Recipe 2

  • ½ cup sugar substitute (any brand)
  • 2 oz. candy
  • ½ cup margarine

  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup non-fat dry milk
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp. baking soda
Add the margarine and the sugar substitute to a bowl and mix well. Now, add the non-fat dry milk, egg, water, and vanilla extract to the bowl. Beat well for about 1 minute at a medium speed. Fold the chocolate candy into the batter, and then drop spoonfuls of it onto a non-greased cookie sheet.
Bake for about 20-25 minutes at 350 °F. Let the cookies cool on a wire rack before serving.
