Whereas quinoa is a low glycemic index food, health-conscious individuals feel more at ease choosing quinoa over rice while they try to maintain or lose weight.
However, if you prefer rice over quinoa, studies show that brown rice is the rice to choose since this rice is also high in fiber and promotes weight loss.
