Oat flour is used as a replacement for wheat or rye in a number of gluten-free recipes. Here are some of the best recipes made using oats.
We have often used oatmeal in our daily diet, but using oat flour is uncommon. This flour is made using whole oats as they can be finely or coarsely ground. Whole oat flour is more nutritious as it contains all the nutritional qualities of oats. It is often used as a substitute for any of the gluten-containing flour like wheat, rye, barley, etc. Although this flour does not exactly act like wheat flour, it is a safer substitute. If you do not suffer from gluten allergy, you can mix oat and wheat flour together.
