Whey protein would prove beneficial only when it is consumed in moderation. Taking them in large doses for a long time may lead to some severe side effects like liver diseases, liver failure, kidney diseases, kidney failure, osteoporosis, and might lead to symptoms similar to that of lactose intolerance.
